Another wonderful, natural processed coffee from our Guatemalan direct trade project. In a country were , just a few year ago, it was forbidden to use this processing technique, we're now having a great example of what's possible. All due to pioneers like Fernando.
This coffee shows you all the beauty of a genuine Guatemala coffee combined with the funky notes of the natural process. Complex dark fruit notes like blackberry, black currant en elderberries are accompanied with a rum-raisin & honey sweetness, a creamy mouthfeel and crisp notes of apple sirup , mandarin and red grapes. The aftertaste even reminds me of a fizzy coke.
Served as a cappuccino the raisin, caramel and milk chocolate notes are highlighted.
