Colombia black tea

This fantastic black tea comes from the tropical rainforest surrounding the Andes Mountains and grows on the border with Ecuador in beautiful Colombia.
The tea grows at high altitudes, between 1800 and 2000 meters, and owes its incredibly diverse flavor palette to the dramatic temperature fluctuations in the mountains. The tea bushes grow here in the pristine rainforest on a young, mature area. Harvested in early spring, the tea has a full, sweet flavor reminiscent of raisins and a slightly fruity, honeyed aroma.
