Select switch:
Use the Select switch to easily choose between a full or half-full carafe of coffee while maintaining optimal flavor. In the half-carafe setting, the flow rate is slowed down. This gives the water enough time to extract the coffee's full flavor and aromas, just as it does with a full carafe. This makes the KBG Select ideal for brewing anything from a full carafe to just a few cups.

Hotplate
The Moccamaster filter coffee maker keeps the carafe of coffee warm at 80–85°C, allowing you to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee for longer. The hotplate automatically switches off after 40 minutes, ensuring the coffee maker is fire-safe.
